Scotland
People often ask me where my favorite place to photograph is, and I almost always land on Scotland as my answer. I’ve been many times, and yet I am always ready to return. The last couple of visits have been made with dear friend and fellow teacher Charlie Waite. We share a similar philosophy for creating images and enjoy teaching and interacting with fellow photographers. This is the best possible recipe for successful workshops and tours.
Standing stones, blackhouses, craggy prehistoric landscapes, mist and legend all combine to make Scotland a photographer’s paradise. After 8 trips I still feel that I have touched only the surface. This year (2019) Charlie and I will take a group to Ireland, but 2020 will see us back in Scotland, perhaps to even wilder locations in the far north. Join us!
