Layering Your Intent, Fully Integrating Your Vision and Voice

Keron’s most popular course: Join Keron Psillas, award-winning photographer and author, to discover and refine a deeper intent for your photography. With six Internationally award-winning books of photography published, Keron is creating a legacy of refined work with a passionate voice. 2019 debuted her fine press edition of Cavalo Lusitano: The Spirit Within, from Veritas Editions, and saw acclaim and awards for Lusitano:noble, courageous, eternal, as well as Loss and Beauty: creating solace in a land of infinite sorrow.

From Keron:
After teaching The Photography of Intent for 12 years, it is time to move to the next level. Layering Your Intent, another 5 day intensive course, will gather and illustrate all the principles I rely upon to create compelling, engaging images. The integration of who we are and what we bring to our work is paramount to this week’s dialogue.
With LIVE classroom instruction, discussion of images, daily critiques of new work, field assignments, and capsules of information covering book creation, Lightroom developing, and daily work in the field, our week will be full to overflowing with inspiration and breakthrough. Each lecture is designed to encourage you to reach the next level. Perhaps you want to exhibit…or create a book for a larger audience…fill in gaps of technical knowledge, or perhaps you simply (and importantly) want to deepen your ability to create expressive images that fully integrate your voice and vision. This class will support your intent.
Join me in person, online, for 5 days of classroom time, one-to-one personal sessions, and plenty of roundtable Q&A!
Note virtual-classroom hours: 9 am to 2 pm Pacific time (with lunchbreak and flexibility) to allow us to shoot in the good light in the morning and the evening!
There will be assignments each day, reviews each day, lectures to illustrate the assignments beforehand, and time after the course for TWO one-on-one sessions with each participant.
This workshop is open to all photographers with a good working knowledge of their camera. If you wish to participate in image reviews, you will need to be able to download your images to your laptop, make selections, and transfer images to Keron via WeTransfer for sharing with the class. If you need help with this workflow, please email Keron the week before the class begins.
